Coney Island’s Friday night karaoke and fireworks festivities have been washed away due to the rain passing through the area.
Karaoke has been rescheduled for Sunday from 2-5 p.m., according to Deno’s Wonder Wheel.
The weather is slated to clear up shortly after 10 p.m., so a late-night walk on the boardwalk isn’t out of the question. Plus, the weather is looking good for the rest of the weekend: Saturday’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-80s, and Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures again in the mid-80s.
Mary J. Blige is slated to perform on Friday at the Amphitheater at 8 p.m., while the One Africa Music Fest will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Plus, there will be sand sculpting on Saturday from 12-4, Cosmos soccer, and more. On Sunday, Coney Island Beach will feature Black Gay Pride Beach Day.To find out about more events and things to do this weekend, click here.
