Nets G Isaiah Whitehead returned to Coney Island this week to give back to the community, marking another trip back to the area he used to call home.

The 22-year-old visited PS 288, where he spoke with middle schoolers about bullying, reports Nets Daily. He provided the children with turkeys for Thanksgiving, signed autographs, and took photos.

Next, Whitehead is reportedly planning on visiting his alma mater, Abraham Lincoln High School, to give out more turkeys. He also is planning to stop by Tom’s restaurant to give back to senior citizens.

Whitehead is reportedly also slated to return to the area later in the holiday season.

Whitehead has appeared in four games this season for the Nets, averaging 3.3 points, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game.
