A community-wide Thanksgiving feast will take place at the Coney Island Gospel Assembly church at 2828 Neptune Ave. on Thanksgiving day — and it’s free!

Businesses, local elected officials, and community organizations are pitching in to sponsor the feast, which is a decades-old tradition.

Food will be served from noon until 5 p.m. and all are welcome to attend. Around 1,000 people are expected to be in attendance.

The Coney Island Alliance, Councilmember Mark Treyger, State Sen. Diane Savino, Assemblymember Pam Harris are among the elected officials who are sponsoring it, while an array of neighborhood businesses such as Gargiulo’s Restaurant, Denos Wonder Wheel, Luna Park, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Coney Island YMCA, and several others are also pitching in.
